As this "Special Day" comes and goes, I'd like to catch up on a few things in "different" areas:
1st off.......CONGRATULATIONS to the following Lakeview students on their selection to the ILLINOIS MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOC. Honors Band, Jazz Band, and Choir. They were selected from 1400 students who auditioned for a spot in one the the three above listed groups:

Boys Varsity Basketball tryouts begin tonight, and conclude Wed.; Nov. 2nd 34 8th grade Boys are signed up to tryout, and to that.....GOOD LUCK TO ALL candidates!!!!
And finally, the D.G.S. Football Mustangs, coming off an impressive victory, 37-24 over Naperville North last Friday night, will entertain the Crusaders from Brother Rice this Friday night, kicking off at 7 PM AT D.G.S. Doors open at 6:15 PM, with admission for all ages being $5.00.
